I'd be same to launch Skyrim from steam even after NMM has installed mods, right

I'm assuming that NMM's "Launch Skyrim" button isn't actually required to launch it but I just want to be sure.

Depends if you use SKSE or not, if you arent, then you should be.

I think if you need to use the Script Extender plugin, you need to run that executable. If you aren't using that then I'm don't think it matters how you launch it.

Yeah, once you get real mods going you can't use the Steam launch button anymore. Well you still can if you change the location to the SKSE launcher. Just use NMM though, it's easier

If you have SKSE, you can't use Steam launch button. Got it.
However are you guys saying that if you have SKSE (which I do) you have to use the exe that SKSE added, and not the NMM launcher? Or am I misunderstanding this?

In NMM, where it says 'Launch Skyrim', there's a little arrow to the right. Click on that and select 'Launch SKSE'. You can use that to launch the game from NMM with SKSE.

Skse makes launching much faster anyways...I'd just use it to circumvent the main menu that appears through the steam .exe
