My card is a GTX750Ti OC, so I think the visuals will be slightly better and only able to reach 40-50 fps with 1080p?

I dunno... I liked 5 a good amount but I didn't like it enough to do 100% for the first time in any GTA ever.

Guess it depends on how well it plays and how much better it looks.

Don't know. The only games of the type I ever seem to get through are the Saints Row games and that's mostly because of the co-op option. Playing them alone I just always seem to wind up losing interest.

I heard pretty much nothing about the game a couple weeks after launch (well, other than asking for a port) so I'm guessing it's a flavor of the week/month game. Will wait until it's more than half off, given that port impressions are good.

There's no point getting it until the gorgeous mods release.

Also, Rockstar' ports are always unoptimized garbage so it's clear they simply hold back the PC version to double dip. Sadly it works and plenty of morons keep buying it a second time at full price.

That alone means I won't touch it until it's bargain bin price.

Someone didn't play Max Payne 3.

Also, preorder. I don't give 2 f***'s if the game is "old". I thoroughly enjoy Rockstar's games but I absolutely hate using a controller for their games.

Despite having better visuals, like no pop-in, and running at a much smoother pace, the core game is exactly the same, and I remember finding it dull and slow-paced, character movement so sluggish.

Isn't that right, Zach?

Beside GTA IV were any of their other games unoptimized?

Console bug testing has been outsourced to gamers now. For $60 you too can become a game tester.

LA Noire had a 30 fps lock. GTA V supposedly uses the same engine as Max Payne 3 though and that ran and looked great so I don't see any real cause for pessimism here.
