ATI/AMD Exclusives - Buggy Drivers! Hair that moves!
Nvidia Exclusives - Drivers so many one old driver maybe better than the new one! Barrels that DO PHYSICS.

nVidia has GFE, ShadowPlay, GameStream, driver level FXAA and HBAO+, better support for vsync, TRAA, TXAA, Hardware PhysX, GPU virtualization(?), Gsync, and much, much more efficient drivers, as far as exclusive features go. I'm probably missing a few.
Inclusive features include GameWorks, Software PhysX, and I believe some lighting pipelines for professional work.

As far as exclusive AMD features, Mantle, driver level MLAA, and there's a fan-maintained program that lets you retrofit some effects like AO, though I'm not sure how compatible it is.
For inclusive features, TressFX is I think the only labeled AMD thing besides Mantle to get any use. It works fine on nVidia, much like most of GameWorks features work fine on AMD. They also made a big fuss about "FreeSync" for a bit, but it kind of missed the point; mobile displays have been doing variable refreshrates for ages. It's desktop displays that need to be brought up to speed.

Nowadays the differences are marginal.

Sure, AMD has mantle, Nvidia has physx and things like that. But those are both more gimmicks than anything else.

It is true that when it comes to drivers, nvidia has always done a better job. But that said, last AMD card I had (for almost 2 years) drivers were not really an issue.

AMD drivers used to be really bad but they stopped releasing new ones every week and release WHQL ones after a few months of beta versions.

Last time I checked, tressfx wasn't an AMD exclusive feature.

It's AMD tech but it works on nvidia cards because AMD doesn't lock it's tech unlike nvidia.
