isn't that revolutionary or what? The animations, the behaviour of the enemies and especially the hostage...looks too realistic to be true. Surprising not much attention or praise has been given to it.

That's supposed to be pre-alpha? Yeah right, this is all scripted pre-rendered stuff, although it's impressively done. It looks like actual gameplay

That's multiplayer afaik. Players on both teams. Obviously the hostage isn't supposed to be a player.

*Yeah it says it right there in the description that it's multiplayer footage.

It's human players.

Not sure you know what this game is about.

I notice that his ammo counter is all over the place. 2:27-2:40 has him using his cheat codes.

It is actual gameplay. If it's scripted, then what's the point? So the enemies just repeat the exact same actions you see them do in the E3 video?

I can believe this was gameplay but the thing was scripted and played out to look cool.

No, it's scripted in that it's an attractive presentation of what regular gameplay would seem like, created from carefully placed scenarios for the sake of making a good show. I highly doubt it's pre-alpha footage as it looks like a completely finished product. A lot of the things that aren't ironed out until well into the alpha, and even beta phases are all taken care of on there. I mean, just because they say it is, is there even an obligation to tell the truth about it? It's R6, so I'm probably getting it at launch, but the whole thing is cheesy and the ending was just so fake

Whoever wrote that script was an idiot tho... I already pointed out several issues I had with that gameplay teaser. Reinforced bar to clip in to on the edge of the roof instead of a gutter, curious how the first little spycam got into the second floor unnoticed (if it's big enough to climb stairs, how do they not immediately see it, and if it's not, how did it get to floor 2), and holy crap - why would they try to fight through all the terrorists instead of taking the hostage right back out the window they just breached?

"Real" tactics would take the hostage out the window, have her clear from the house in like 30 seconds, and basically police forces/SWAT would retreat and basically lock the house down and get the terrorists to surrender - starve them out or whatever. The entire scenario seemed ridiculous from start to finish IMO. Granted it's a game, but why shoot for so much realism and then throw in all this immersion-killing stuff?
