Steam Summer Sale 2014 June 19

Can't say there's a whole lot I'm interested in that I don't already own tbh. Not to mention being this early pretty much means I'll pass anyway and wait to see what Amazon has up it's sleeves.

Some roads you shouldn't go down because maps used to say there'd be dragons there. Now they don't, but that don't mean the dragons aren't there.

Damn, and here I am with $1.59 in my Steam wallet. Hell I would get Rogue Legacy right now if I could.

We have so many sites like greenmangaming, gamefly, gamersgate, origin, amazon digital etc etc that go on sale all the time, Steam sales are just not the same anymore.

Couple that with the fact that most people who are veterans of a few sales have most of the older games they want already.

If you follow deal aggregate sites like isthereanydeal.com and such, you find great deals on games throughout the year and not just during big time sales. So nowadays when a Steam Sale comes around it feels underwhelming because most of the games have already been that low or lower elsewhere before and bought.

While those sites are nice, unless the retailer is selling a Steam key, I'm not very interested. I'd rather have everything under as few clients as possible.

Most of those sites sell Steam keys. Or Origin/Uplay if the games are EA/Ubi. Heck, for isthereannydeal, you can even set an option to be notified only if aa game is activated on Steam. Although I'd say its very rare that I see a deal there that is not activated on one of the major clients.
