I have no issue with people who want to game in 4k, but personally I'm not worried about that yet. I'm just happy to run at Ultra 1080p settings.

Can't decide between 1440p IPS or 4k TN - and then when 4k IPS is more common move the TN panel to my left side. --- I have built http://pcpartpicker.com/p/P5jg - Minus a few parts (monitor @ moment) Screw trying to record video (on PC).

everything looks amazing on s5,most of the stuff looks great on 32,everything lower than 1080p looks like horse crap on 55'. picture quality doesnt look different at all. --- psn =vishmarx;xbl=vishmarx

I just made the move to 1600. Maybe in like three or four years I'll consider anything higher, and maybe not even then since the majority of pc games I play are mmos and console ports. --- ...Dude, you're a ****ing douche. Get off my god damn internets. - RX7Infinitilll

What resolution is 4k? Its not 4000pixels vertically is it?
3,840 × 2,160
EDIT: That's "consumer 4k" - industry standard 4k is supposed to be 4096 x 2160. And that's horizontal, not vertical. Horizontal is the bigger number.
thanks, 16:9 or 16:10 aspect ratio on that? --- GT : DeadJericho/PSN : Focalpoint/WiiU : FocalpointUK Correct terminology is 'Could NOT care less'. Learn English!

Both 3840 and 4096 x 2160 is 16:9.
16:9 = 1.7777.... 3840 x 2160 = 1.7777... 4096 x 2160 = 1.8962962962...
4096 is closer to 16:8.4375... not a true 16:9. --- "How do I get rid of a Trojan Horse?" -Sailor_Kakashi "Leave it outside the gates of Troy overnight." -Davel23
