I'll never purchase a Seagate hard drive again. One of them died on me after a month and made me lose over a terabyte of data. I RMAed it and sold it to my brother.

Acer and HP. HP products have given me so much trouble, from printers, keyboards, etc.. Acer is just plain junk. Never had a Dell product, but would avoid them too I think.

MSi and Asus have been great for me.

I would never buy from Dell again. I have 2 Dells, one that's about 7 years old and another that's about 4-5 years old which my sister got from her work because they were replacing it with a newer computers. Both of which run slower than my 12 year old HP. The HP has lower specs both in RAM and hard drive space and a slightly slower processor. While my HP gets really hot, I still will probably buy a new HP when I have a chance. I'm still going to look around and see pricing for computer with the specs I want.

Cyberpower-I got a desktop from them that pretty much never worked right from the day I got it. I had more components fail on that PC in the first year than in the whole life of any other desktop I owned.

HP-My office had HP laptops and they were non-stop problems. Mine had the interesting quirk that the CD tray would spring open anytime I picked it up. I will say that the newer HP they gave me has been somewhat better behaved.

I've never had any issues with Dell, either for work or home PC's. Between my wife and I we've had four different Dell notebooks and all of them still run, the oldest shipped with the original version of Win 98. (I did eventually have to replace the backlight on that one, but it was like 9 years old by then.)

I had a REALLY bad experience with an MSI motherboard about 12 years ago. I swore to never buy anything from them again.
