Well then it's a good thing that this game doesn't fit any of those things then now does it? Guess it must be a damn fine port. Dead Rising 3 has 1080p+ res, 60+ FPS framerate, better textures, bindable controls, etc. What more do you want?

What would I personally want? I'd want it to not be a buggy mess (you can't guarantee that it won't be). I would also prefer that it wasn't a zombie game as I already stated... I'm sick of the whole zombie genre. It's a digital distributed PC game, so what's the purpose in preordering? Are they going to run out of 1's and 0's if we don't preorder? Yes I know that they're granted a set number of keys but how long does it realistically take to generate more keys?

Even all these 'garbage ports' people always whine about let you have better resolutions and framerates than the console pezzy originals.

Saints Row 2, Deadly Premonition, and Dark Souls can all run at 1080p 60 FPS.

Saints Row 2 was a buggy mess, Dark Souls needed a fan made mod/patch to fix the developers inability to do it right.

There are native PC games that are capped at 30 FPS. Spore is a PC exclusive and is hardlocked to 30 FPS and you cannot change it.

Spore is a PC game made like a console game. It's also EA so the "inexplicably locked to 30fps" thing doesn't surprise me a bit. A long long time ago, EA was a PC game publisher that branched out to consoles. Now it's a console game publisher that sometimes does PC games.

Why is buying some console port "supporting PC gaming"? Who cares about Dead Rising 3?

People who like playing video games.

But by all means, have fun with your quality PC-only non-console ports like "Gone Home," "Street Cleaning Simulator," and "Infestation: Survivor Stories."

The simple fact of the matter is, the developers are talking about the game on the official Steam forums. How often do bad ports have active developers communicating with the community?

They've released two high bitrate gameplay footage videos of the game running at 1080p 60 FPS to combat all these lies of this game being 30 FPS:

Here's pictures of the graphics options and options for native Xbox 360 controller support and full keyboard re-bindings:

What more does this company have to do to prove that they are making this a great release for the PC? Is this game not free2play enough? Do the developers need to make more hats? What features is it that the PC community wants that this game does not supply?

Just face it: You guys complaining about this game's port quality are just butt-blasted that the Xbox One got this game first and now you're looking for any reason you can find to hate on it. You all hopped on that little inaccurate news report that it was capped at 30 FPS with glee and now that the truth is coming out you have no legs to stand on.

Well if you keep having this bad attitude towards every developer that shows this platform support don't be surprised when you don't get more games in the future. You guys are the cancer that is killing PC gaming.

"Killing PC gaming" I keep hearing this statement but there is no evidence to support it. I guarantee you that if there were another video game crash PC would be just fine where as the console market would fall hard.

If the game bugs out at 60fps, it's a bad port job. It's a simple as that.

I don't pre-order games, but if DR3 PC gets a solid stamp of approval from the places I visit and is confirmed to be a solid port I will pick it up at release.

I still have trouble running Dead Rising 2 on a fairly frequent basis. I'll wait for a port report.

Get a better PC.

I beat it a year ago playing @ 1080p. Never did the framerate dip below 60 FPS. I even had super-sampling and SweetFX on.

Don't whine about a game being a "poor port" when your PC is a potato. Your PC is a "garbage port."

My PC is just fine. Just saying that a lot of PC ports of these games are kinda bad. Stop being ignorant.
