I liked DMC 4 but the new Dante really put me off of the game for a while. Is the game any good for 12.50 or should I just keep waiting until it's cheaper

its a flash sale, it wont go any cheaper. Any big budget game like this is worth 12.50 even if you are only slightly interested.

I dont play DMC games, but if i did, i would def buy at this price.

It's shallow, easy, dumbed down, and slow.

Buy Metal Gear Rising if you want an action game.

I earned the Platinum on PS3. The game is not worth it at that price. ~$5 is the sweet spot, where I would say you won't be mad if you don't enjoy it. The gameplay is actually pretty enjoyable, but the characters and story are just cliche and annoying.

Eh not at all IMO. Most "big budget" game are only worth like 5-8 bucks. You're usually really lucky to get more than 10 or 15 hours out of them and I try to go for at least 1.5 hours per dollar spent. I didn't know if the gamplay in DMC would make up for the horrific main character but I guess it doesn't =/

one of a few games that I actually finished. It is worth it.

i loved the game, played all the others and never understood the hate it got from the fans, but honestly if you're unsure i'd say wait for the fall or winter sale for a possible price drop, it's a fun game but nothing you'll lose sleep over if you don't get it

Its still feels very much like a DmC game and while the combat has depth it isn't as deep as 3 and 4. It does feel a little repetitive towards the end, although I can't put my finger on why since I can usually play action games over and over. Its a problem I didn't have with the previous DMC games, Metal Gear Rising, or Bayonetta.

I say if you can wait a little then wait for it to go on sale at GMG and get it for $8-10 after a discount code.

It isn't worth $5, much less $12.50.

This. People are just mad that they changed Dante and can't get over their hurt butt. I played it over a weekend, kept going back until I was done.
