Phenom x4 955 HD radeon 5770 150GB SSD 350GB WD HDD 650w Corsair PSU Antec 2000 Case 8GB corsair vengance
I have roughtly £500 to spend on upgrades.
Im thinking of picking up and i7-4770, an MSI GAMING z97 motherboard and a GTX 770 possibly the MSI TWIN FROZR version because its cheaper.
I will most likely pick up another HDD as it is amazing how quickly they fill up these days.
Does this look like a good value for money spend?
I presume with a i7-4770 and a GTX 770 I should be able to play everything on highest settings for some time?
Can anyone see a better way of spending the £500?
Should I keep my antex 2000? It is a decent case and in good shape still
Will 650w on the PSU be enough?
Any other suggestions would be very much appreciated.

When you say highest settings, do you mean high? Or actual highest? Because actual highest, hell no not even close.
You're asking if you should keep a case? It's a case.
650 is always more than enough

Thanks for the replies both of you.
Any reason to go for the i5-4670k over the i7 4770k?
Is that a price vs performance choice?

Everything there looks fine but what i would buy is an AMD FX 6300 CPU (which can be bought for less than £80) http://www.amazon.co.uk/AMD-FX6300-Edition-4-1GHz-Socket/dp/B009O7YORK/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1403259484&sr=8-1&keywords=amd+fx+6300
AMD Radeon HD 270x http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sapphire-Vapor-X-Radeon-GDDR5-Graphics/dp/B00FOR007C/ref=sr_1_5?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1403259543&sr=1-5&keywords=r9+270x
A new PSU wouldn't go a miss newer PSU's are more energy efficient that their older counterparts as for a MOBO anything made by gigabyte or ASUS is good. --- FX 6300, HYPER 212 EVO, 16GB DDR3, 7870 GHZ 2GB, 2TB HDD, 64 GB SATA III SSD, 12X BLU RAY, 750W PSU, X-FI FATAL1TY,WINDOWS 7

The i5 and i7 have no difference in gaming but I would wait for the new i5-4690k and Z97 motherboard if it's already there in your country. --- I5-4440 - Asrock H81M - Zotac 750Ti - CM N200 = Future Emulation and Gaming Build @ 1600 x 900 PS3_PS2_PS1 Master.
