Just as the topic states, I'm curious if the windows key has ever destroyed your gaming session?

If you've ever had a bad experience with the windows key, feel free to share! I know it's gotten me killed a few times in games, when that start menu pops up, and my game goes down.

I disable it before gaming.

No, I know how to use the keyboard.

Yes back in the days when minimizing a game crashed it.

Thankfully most don't anymore.

But I don't use the control key for anything anymore anyways because back in my Win95 days, I had the control key set to do the show mouse cursor. Which would glitch out any game if pressed.

No. My keyboard has a switch that can disable it, but even without that I've never accidentally pressed it or anything.

I actually still get some -very- rare alt tabbing out of nowhere caused by... well, seemingly nothing. Nothing pops up, absolutely nothing at all, but it alt tabs, and it has screwed me.

My hands are weird, I don't think I ever hit the windows key by accident more than twice in my entire life.

There's also the fact that I commonly use it to alt tab willingly (some games can only be lowered this way).

Has done before. I used to use left Alt as the sprint key.

Recently I've been getting alt tabbed out of games due to a "Low Disk Space" message on my backup drive. If you clean out the drive, it just replenishes the backup, so I've given up on it
