A few major reasons Absolution gets a lot of flak compared to the older Hitman titles. It's still a good game imo, but it DOES have issues and I understand the dislike for it that many have.
I'd recommend it though (good gunplay, satisfying stealth, funny enemy dialogue, lengthy campaign, gorgeous graphics), but I would recommend Blood Money and Hitman 2 first, if you're looking for more of the traditional Hitman style. --- "If we can hit that bulls-eye, the rest of the dominoes will fall like a house of cards. Eh, went ahead and bought it. Only $4, so that seems to be a pretty good deal.
