Help!: Xbox 360 controller issues.

#115RCPosted 6/21/2014 6:22:28 PM
The left and right triggers don't seem to be working with a wireless Xbox 360 controller on my PC. I did the calibration thing, where it showed the triggers are working just fine. Outside of that, the triggers don't work. What could be the problem?

Bump. Tried re-installing drivers. Still can't get the triggers to work.

Are you using it on games that officially support the 360 controller?

Tried it on a few Steam games. All buttons work except for the triggers.

Again, are you using it on games that officially support the 360 controller? Not all Steam games support controllers.

It should say full controller support on their store page.

Incidentally, the top result from googling "list of pc games with 360 controller support."

It's normal for the triggers not to work in dInput titles since they actually work as analog sliders, not buttons, and MS didn't include any kind of fallback for them to be recognized as buttons in titles that don't expect that.
