Is there anything to get from being on the winning team in steam?

I don't know much about this steam sale teams thing they have going on. I read about it quickly and all I can find is that the winning team 30 people get 3 games on their wishlist. Do the other X-hundred thousand people get anything? Realistically I'm not going to be one of those 30, is there anything I can gain if I choose to participate and win in the thing?

I think everyone on the winning team gets two cards.

*Only if you actually contributed to the team's win (Ie, earned at least 1 point)

Same requirement for actually having a chance to win games from your wishlist. Have to have contributed at least a point to the effort.

But realistically, there's probably at least 2 Million people on each team (Figure there's 5 teams and I've seen at least 7-8 Million concurrent users on Steam...I'm sure they aren't ALL online at once)...Even with 30 Point-earning users from the 1-of-5 teams that wins, the chances are still astronomically slim.

Does voting count as a point?

Does buying a game count as a point towards your team?

Nope.

Have to craft a badge, AFAIK, that's the only way. Normal game badges get 1 point, The Summer (Event-specific) badge gets 10 points, and the Foil version of that same badge is worth 100 points.

ehh I wouldn't say astronomically. Roughly a 1 in 26000 chance

So estimating approximately 1/3rd-1/2 (Give or take, we have no idea how many really are on each team) of the people on each team that wins contributed points and would be eligible for getting one of the 30 chances? :P

I basically went off the amount of points the winning team finished with. Yesterday was north of 700k. Lets say just for simplification sake each individual point was contributed by an individual. So the odds may be better than that also
