My FPS was higher when I first got my card but it went down. Is that possible?

Yes, I have the newest drivers. Would bad internet cause an fps drop? I'm on ADSL and my ping jumps from 50-250 all of the time.

Could be dying too. I know my 580 seemed to have serious performance issues before it died.

Hmm... Well I just bought it in January so I hope that isn't the case. I've just noticed that at first I was able to run BF4 with resolution scale at 120% and it stayed at 60 fps constantly but now it dips to 40. My internet is really bad so maybe that's the case?
