DoD is a lot of fun, if you enjoy rogue-likes or challenge in general.
If you're looking for a story, avoid it.

Maybe it would help if we knew what kind of RPG you want.


I'm fine with most anything, I really like good story games though.
For me, a good, well paced story can carry the game a long way.

while it comes in a double pack with Breath of Death VII, it seems to be not on sale despite it apparently being on sale on June 19th at steam.
