Anyone played the Divinity RPG thats on Steam? Is it any good?

I should have gotten it during the sale to try it but still it looks remotely interesting. I'm not a big strategy games fan, as I tend to suck at them (altho I haven't tried any since Starcraft 2) I like the idea of turn based action in an RPG.

It seems pretty interesting.

Original sin? It's pretty fun, I just grabbed it

Yeah that one.

I wish I had grabbed it during that sale but I don't know if I should wait or say **** it.

Someone on Steamtrades.com is giving away copies for $20. I just picked it up, already played 3 hours and it's pretty good. The spells look impressive which is something I find newer RPGs lack.

How do you about getting them there for $20?

Nice I'll try that before anything else.

It's not a strategy game though, but the battles are tactical in the sense that mindlessly rushing in won't end well. I hate strategy games and I'm terrible at them, but Original Sin is incredible.

It's easily the best role-playing game of the past 5 years. Just look at the endless praise that hardcore role-playing gamers are giving it.

It's being compared to legends such as Baldur's Gate and Ultima VII.

If you're on the fence, I'd say take the plunge.
