Biggest surprise of the year for me. I swear it was made for me. Any games like it?

Yes, roguelikes.

Like Dungeon Stone Soup, Dwarf Fortress (Adventure Mode) and so on..

The two other roguelikes I play are Binding of Isaac and Rogue Legacy, but from a gameplay standpoint, they aren't quite like FTL.

Are there any flash games out there like FTL?
Or some flash based Rogue games?

Enjoy dying 10-30 times before you get a victory. But it's so much fun. I love it.

It was a cool game. I remember it got a lot of attention on Kickstarter, but I didn't really get it. Once it was on Steam, I bought it, and was hooked from the start. The game can really dick you over, but it's always fun, and you never know what to expect from the next encounter.

Wait a few months for Binding of Isaac to get the advanced edition remake, then try that out. It's more action based but you'll like it.
