I bought an alienware m11x for around 250 bucks ( came with a 240 GB SSD, not too bad ) .
Its not the best gaming laptop for sure, but plays wildstar, eso, D3, etc., great.

Anyways, I noticed my temps during games are running between 75 - 88 degrees. Non-gaming i'm at 49-55 degrees.

Should I be worried? I have cleaned dust out, thats not the problem.

I do have a cooling pad, although its not great, i may try another one.

thoughts?

gaming laptops aren't really laptops, unless you want to burn your legs.
build a man a fire and he will be warm for a day, but set a man on fire and he'll be warm for the rest of his life.

Is that the 2010 model? Those temps aren't anything to worry about, however a reapplication of the thermal paste on the CPU and GPU may offer a few degrees difference.

Never buy a gaming laptop with bottom vents if you plan to put it on your leg/lap.

Get one with back vents.
