Loading screens, no pools, no toddlers, 32 bit only, no create-a-style, don't like the art style either, but that's an opinion. Sucks because the Sims 4 was one of the reasons I built my first PC. I'll wait about 6 months to see if any changes are made that warrants a purchase.

The 2012 E3 Watch Dogs gameplay demo was not PS4 footage. The PS4 version was never downgraded. Stop being stupid.

Oh yeah, if anyone is interested, here is a petition, but the likelihood of EA actually caring is probably zero.

I'm not buying it because I don't support EA and have pretty much no interest in the Sims games. The only ones I liked were the city builder games, but they aren't worth supporting EA to play

Not buying it but not because of any of those reasons. The series peaked @ 2, and the genre is stale

I'll get a used copy if the games still let you just reuse codes to register physical copies if you don't want to register. hell, I still will @_@ Not feeling $60 for an EA game anyway.

I'm not buying it but that's because I found the sims 3 to be boring, which is odd because I kinda liked the Sims 2...maybe I just outgrew it.

Same. I have no idea why I played the Sims 2 for literally hundreds of hours yet I've started up Sims 3 maybe a dozen times max. And Sims 3 has more features than Sims 2 iirc. Then again it might have to do with the fact that I was still in high school when Sims 2 came out.

Eh, I'll still be buying it. I don't play the Sims but its one of my wife's favorite series, and I always love seeing her get excited about games (she's a gamer, but she only really enjoys a handful of series), I've been telling her about the changes and she's been a bit disappointed but not enough that she wants to pass on it.

- Loading screens
Annoying, but if getting rid of the open city means the game will run better than Sims 3 then I'm probably ok with it.

- no pools
Odd decision by Maxis considering pools were part of the base game in both Sims 1 and Sims 2, but I can't say I used them much anyway.

- no toddlers
I never liked having kids in Sims 1 - 3 and toddler was a life stage I always tried to get through as fast as possible, so once again I don't care too much about the fact that it's missing.

- 32 bit only
Now that seems like a stupid move by Maxis, really don't know why they would do that.

- no create-a-style
Annoying, I hope it helps the game as much performance-wise as they claim it does.

- the art style
From what I've seen I liked the art style of Sims 3 better, but I guess the new look is fine as well.

All in all I'd say the game is definitely not a release week purchase for me but there is still a good chance that I'll buy it at some point.
