I have a media server with a few HDD and set them to sleep after 2 hours. I don't use it very often but when I do use it I get a delay accessing the files. I would like to figure out a way to wake up the HDDs on my media server when the HTPC is first turned on. I was thinking of something with the cmd prompt and place the file in each HDD, then create a shortcut to my HTPC startup folder. Problem is, what program and how can I keep it hidden so I don't get a ton of popups?
