Reminder that the woman who created women's shelters decided to create one for men. She got death threats and her dog was killed.

It's fallacious to say that the character is defined by their sexuality just because there was an article exemplifying the sexuality. The person who wrote the article is not the writer.

nothing about the article said that the sexuality defined the character, but there's nothing wrong with homosexuality being an important part of a character's narrative when he exists in a culture that is violently opposed to homosexuality.

Well, maybe people who are not striaght wouldn't make an identity out of their sexuality if they weren't discriminated against in the first place. Sometimes being told you're a horrible person for being X actually makes you take pride in the label. Kinda like me with atheism >_>.

Homosexuality certainly does, there are plenty of non straight folk in the Dragon Age setting. As for a society violently opposed to it, it may or may not fit.

That door swings both ways. There are circles where being heterosexual is an invitation to be ostracized.

Only in militant LGBT circles and nobody wants to be around them anyway. I'm bisexual and don't even like those people.

The game is not even out yet so saying the character is completely defined by their sexuality which is mentally lazy and saying the its a stereotype is jumping the gun and making a mountain out of a molehill more so that the sjws everyone seems to rally against.
