With mods, Skyrim is a pretty stellar game. There are tons of options to tweak almost any and everything. I've been running around as a Space Wolf from Warhammer dual wielding blue and green Lightsabers, feeding on people with my vampire abilities and turning into a werewolf every once in a while as well.

Feels good man.

It can be pretty fun if you mod the terrible combat into decent combat.

Sorry, but Requiem + Deadly Combat + TKHitstop + ASIS can't fix incurably clunkiness and life-draining boredom.

Funny, I regretted buying Skyrim LE during the sale since I have vanilla in my 360 and barely play it. Then I realized I got a ton of content for the price. Plus there are mods to play with.

So it's understandable you regret not picking it up. Grab it next time.

I can't play Skyrim for any significant amount of time without getting terribly bored. Glad I'm not the only one

Well I thought it was amazing. I mean, it's almost three years old now and I still go into it and mess around from time to time. Still never finished every faction questline.

I regret trying it for 25 minutes.

I wish I could have those minutes back, I'd rather use them to stare at dust.

Exactly, it wasn't made for gamers, but for casuals who just want a little fickle interaction with clunky mechanics, in a large, bland and empty world devoid of challenge.
