It makes me wonder if that really is the kind of person he is in life.

It does make one wonder, but then you realize that's an even bigger waste of time and energy than ranting about games you don't like to people who don't care...

Skyrim and even the best of its mods doesn't hold up to vanilla Gothic 2. That game beats down Skyrim each and every way and every time it tries to take a step forward with a new dumb, flashy mod. Gothic 2 combat is more dynamic and satisfying, art direction is genuinely unique and impressive, immersion is immediate and lasting, the storytelling is believable, the gameplay is enjoyable all the way through. But hey, if you just love kiting the same bandits and draugr to keep getting random, useless loot then go for Skyrim.

Well, Gothic 2 with the Night of the Raven add-in is simply the best 3d action RPG ever made. you can't expect Bethesda to make a game like that.

But yeah, now it seems you can't even expect them to make a game worth playing. How sad.

Look out, you filthy casuals, Ningishzida is here to tell you about how games aren't challenging anymore, don't have intricate mechanics worthy of a gaming god, and are just made for the simple peasants like us.

the Thieves guild and DB questlines are pretty damn good

The "thieves" guild still managed to have about as much dungeon crawling as the rest of them.

even the vanilla versions-why do you think it sold so well on consoles? Because it's a great game even without the mods.

I'm just gonna assume you were drunk or very tired when you posted this.

lol no. To build up the Thieves guild you have to do a series of missions STEALING things. The story doesn't end, with that guild, just because you finish the main storyline. It continues and until and after you build it up. You can actually SEE the guild getting better with new members and new shops in the sewers.

And yeah I played Skyrim on consoles a TON without mods and it's still a great game. Sorry you don't like it, but it's still a fantastic game. As I said before, I love Morrowind more (hell Morrowind is in my top 3 favorite games), but Skyrim is still a very good game even WITHOUT mods. With mods it can be even more immersive if you want it to be.
