Should I go 780 or 780 ti? Can I expect both to max most games for 2-3 years?

I have no plans to SLI. I know it's impossible to know for sure if it will max all games, but I'm sure that a pretty good estimate can be made based on recent history. If 780 ti is more than worth it, I really don't mind forking over an extra $200. If the difference will be negligible, then I'll go 780.

If I go 780 ti, which design is better for airflow/maintaining low heat?

EDIT:
I always play on my 1080p HDTV, so I don't have any plans for dual monitor or higher resolution.

You won't max every game out right now with just one GPU, to be brutally honest with you.

If you truly will never SLI, might as well be a 780 Ti, I say.

However, the 780 is obviously a better price/power ratio, and if SLI isn't off the table, the 6GB model is preferable to a Ti, IMO. Having two 780 6GBs is the best top end performance for any reasonable price you'll get right now, and since you're strongly considering buying half of that right now, why not leave the option on the table?

But if you really will never SLI, just get the Ti, that will meet your needs best.

EDIT: Also, 780 Ti Dual Classified is the best model. Get that one.

780 Ti and a 4770K or better is a minimum to play Watch Dogs very smoothly, and with crazy benchmark 3D Mark Firestrike it still lose some FPS, although it still perform better than Titan.

It is the best for Passmark benchmark.

Don't go 780, you need all the power, it still the best single GPU in the market (780 Ti can easily highest setting every games in 1080p).

It just means you don't know what you were doing at that time.
