Does no one own the 7990?

In that "What GPU do you have topic" I'm the only one that mentions it. I never see it get mentioned here, and the most recent topic on it is archived. Did it stop getting attention when the Rx 200 series came along? I feel like I'm the sole purchaser of that card. 7990-ers commence!

I have one, kinda. Not one of the officially AMD branded cards, but a Powercolor Devil 13, which I think was made before the official 7990s came out.

If I could have the system lay down I might care for a dual card, but extra weight on a motherboard?

I have one and love it. It got discontinued like 8 months ago I think so thats probably why it's not crazy popular. it went on sale for $750 and had to grab one. No regrets

The fact it's only 8% better than a 7970/R9 280X yet costs 3X as much is most likely why it isn't crazy popular. No wonder they discontinued it.

Crossfire isn't too popular 'round here. Multi-GPU setups in general tend to be a bit of a crapshoot, and Crossfire tends to be the worse of the two, plus power and heat issues with having two GPUs on one board, ect.
Plus, most people tend to have cards in the $200~400 range here anyway.

Geeze only 8% better than a single 7970? I thought it was two 7970 gpu chips in crossfire. Do you have a link showing that's it's only 8% better?

This is probably why people say it's only 8% better.
I don't remember if 7990 came out after CF was supposedly fixed, but yeah.

I was mainly going by this http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/gpu_list.php but no idea where they get the info for their 7990. Probably should be more like 70% over a single 7970 which puts it above everything on that list.
