Did Killer is Dead sell well on PC?

#1Auction SniperPosted 7/6/2014 4:48:44 AM(edited)
Started playing it today and (after uncapping the framerate) I am enjoying it so far - the art is very reminiscent of Killer 7 and the gameplay is sort of like No More Heroes.

Has it been a big seller? I'd hope to see more of Suda51's titles ported to the PC.

I hear that it has some game breaking bugs, and we all know how amazing THESE PEOPLE are at fixing up PC games.

OK people read this. the cause of this problem are our DUAL CORE CPUs.
I bet all of you having this problem have Dual Core CPU.

So far I've tried this game on my friends Core i3, Core i5 and Core i7 and on every one of those episode 3 is working fine, doors are closing and game continues after dialogue with Natalia. Again I can assure you Dual-Core CPU is the only cause of episode 3 bug. The same game (copied over to my PC) can NOT pass episode 3 and I have Celeron G530, and my friend with older Pentium E5200 and Celeron E3400 has the same bug on episode 3. I have also tried everything, even forcing single thread on the game and still no go, from some reason game is episode 3 is working fine only with quad core CPU-s or Core i3 ( cuz Hyperthreading is making windows see it as quad).

So, source of this bug is discovered, now use your strength and try to tell developers on twitter, email or however you can so we can have our fix.

uncapped framrate causes freezes at certain points for me but otherwise played it through without issue on PC.

to pass the parts that froze I just restored the framerate to default levels then set it back to 60 once I passed the part.
