Will you upgrade to Windows 9 when it comes out?

It depends if Microsoft has different versions. 30$ for the light version, 99$ for the premium one. I remember the day when people had to pay 250 for a license key. Ah piracy saved us all.

Completely depends on the benefits of doing so and the cost.

It depends. If it's out before I do the mass upgrade, I'll do a dual boot with Windows 7 (since I don't like losing compatibility).

If not, then I'll probably wait a bit.

Will Windows 9 still looks like Windows Phone?

Because my answer would be the opposite of the answer to that.

Windows 9 comes out and MS gets another billion dollars selling bad software. Microsoft is the definition of a true monopoly, they get rich no matter how bad windows is. It's very difficult to avoid windows and avoid paying the windows licensing fee (because of copyright law) especially if you are a pc gamer.

Windows should be free and open source by now, but because of certain laws that incentives Microsoft not to make windows open source, windows is still the bloated completely proprietary operating system.

Depends on how it looks and how i feel about it. If its still clunky feeling like 8 then no.

I've been getting the pro versions for either free, or under $40 since XP. When was it ever... Oh, retail/commercial versions. I get the oem upgrade because it's cheaper and I don't need support from them.
