#1ryouma17Posted 7/7/2014 11:47:05 AM
i havent played fallout 3 since before new vegas came out and back then i only had the original ps3 copy, i just bought the GOTY edition on steam and thought i'd mod it to hell and back. i've downloaded some mods and will list them before but was just wondering if theres any other must have mods or neat mods i missed or if these are all of them?

mods i downloaded so far

hair pack

the updated unofficial patch

Weapon Mod Kits

Fallout mod manager

Large Address Aware Enabler for FO3

LiL - An Eye Improvement Mod

DCInteriors Project

RH_IronSights - FOSE

NMCs Texture Pack

Fellout

Enhanced Weather

Fallout 3 Re-Animated

Fallout 3 Redesigned - Formerly Project Beauty HD

also should i use the FO mod manager or the nexus mod manager which is better?

I think Nexus Mod Manager replaced FO Mod Manager, can someone confirm? Also check out http://taleoftwowastelands.com/ if you end up picking up New Vegas.

hair pack

I have no idea what that actually does and I won't bother looking it up, I just thought it was funny because it sounds like it gives NPCs hair like http://i.imgur.com/vJJxXR7.jpg

Mod Organizer is what you want for Fallout 3, New Vegas, Oblivion and Skyrim.

Hey, ryouma17, can you share what load order you are using for these? I might be interested in running the same set of mods.

I use FOMM to set load order and launch the game (launches with Fallout Script Extender).

I also had to use FO3 Edit to create a merged patch, before I did this I was getting frequent crashes to desktop. Since then I've played about 10-15 hours without issues.

I used the load order guide found in the Wander's Edition FAQ on FO3 Nexus:

http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/2761/?

Oh, and the Improved Blood Textures is always a nice touch!
