This poll is now closed.
Now trying to decide the top 10 biggest well-known game development company was a tough choice.

The developers had to have developed games that is well-known and/or does hype marketing.

They also had to develop games that cover multiple prominent gaming platforms (given this is a PC board) and so developers like Bungie and Naughty Dog were left out.

So to rephrase the poll question a bit clearer, if all of these game developers were to announce a new game (whatever it may be), out of all of them who will you be most "trustful" to spend your money on and think that you will get a game worth your money spent?

EA, but only because I've yet to see a Battlefield game I didn't end up with 4 digit plus hours into. The rest of their lineup is hit or miss.

Some roads you shouldn't go down because maps used to say there'd be dragons there. Now they don't, but that don't mean the dragons aren't there.

Would've said Naughty Dog, but given the restrictions I'll go with Valve.

Limited selection but I'll go with Bethesda. Only because they hit it out of the park with Morrowind.

ah ha....you're getting the idea.

I'm not finding the satisfaction in most of the games I've played that I've gotten from these big game development companies since the Steam sale. While more "focussed" game developers perhaps like Naughty Dog, Kojima Productions, Gearbox Software that come out with a game once a few years end up with games that feel satisfying to play.

I voted Blizz, cause of SC, WC3, WoW, and D2, but it is probably Bungie.

At one point it was tied with Bioware and Bethesda. Now it's not even close. Bethesda keeps putting out the best games, IMO (FO,ES, etc).
