So Zotac made a smaller, faster, and quieter PC than any current console

That's pretty impressive, imho.
Not even that pricey, at ~$700msrp for a machine with 8GB of system RAM and a 1TB HDD already installed, or $550msrp for a barebones kit with no RAM or drive.
If you have a spare laptop drive or memory stick around, $550 for a wii-size console killer isn't bad at all.

....what's impressive about it? Most PCs hit two out of the three things in your title without doing anything, and you can find a small case if you actually want one.

Well, better CPU but worse GPU than the PS4. GPU's more important for gaming so I wouldn't call this PC faster.

Linus did a review on it. It played PS4 games better than PS4 did, incl bf4 and ac4. Not much faster, mind, but still.

And, we're talking about wii size. Not a mini itx oven box, but something the size of the one of the smallest mainstream consoles.

At least post the review. That Amazon page tells us nothing.

Linus just did a video on a Gigabyt's micro gaming PC.
It sounds good on paper with an i5 4200H (dual core hyper threaded laptop cpu) and a 760 with 6gigs GDDR5.
Spoilers, the thing can't keep its self cool and the GPU throttles its self down to about 400 and even down to 200 mhz)

it played ps4 games, or games that are available for ps4 and PC? i feel like a lot of people when talking about these "console killer mini PC's" are missing one of the main points for consoles, which is the player-base for those consoles. personally, I don't see any point in making a PC and trying to make it "like a console" when it won't have the real benifit the console gives. In every scenario, it's a better idea to simply build a better PC, and then buy a console.

It's a small form factor system. That's kind of the point. That it's small.
Also, why does everyone tote exclusives like they're a good thing at all for consumers? Are you guys all that brainwashed or what?

TBH, I think that build could actually work with a 750Ti in it. 750Ti is much cooler running than 760.
