A bunch of GPU-limited games running on a low-end GPU, and yet there's still a performance difference.
BTW, A10 6800k is basically a Phenom II with an IGP.
Later in the video even demonstrates that the 750k doesn't even make a good showing for average framerates, much less the all important lows that AMD is known to be bad for. The i5 is over twice as fast, apparently. Wow.

The vid showed a 750k working well with a 7870. As for the doubling part, that was a gtx 780. Yeah, a 750k will bottleneck a GTX 780. It's an $80 cpu, what were you expecting?

High end gpu? i5
Low to high mid range? Go cheap, AMD

not rocket science

Apparently all GameFAQs mods are women, because they just gave me a warning for having a misogynistic joke in my signature.

Hope you enjoy it, I just don't understand how one minute you can be contemplating a 4790K+770 and end up with a 6300+750ti.

because he didn't buy it

he'll be back next week

I will screen print the order page just to shut your troll mouth up.

But I don't care what you think it's not worth my time.

So a troll topic spawns the burn your house down $425 build guy, and then turns into people (who think they know what they're talking about) arguing about a cpu bottlenecking a gpu.

Good job guys.

Haha, so true. What's with infinity'a absolute terrible builds? I have not seen one decent build from her yet she keeps posting garbage. If I were her, I would just make another account, start over and never mention any build as she will be called out for being Infinity's alt ASAP.

I have the same exact combo. I can play Skyrim w/ the official HD patch on the highest settings with some texture mods (no shaders though, I'm not even going to bother with those). Occasionally it might sink down to around 50 frames but for the most part it's a constant 60. That's probably the hardest I've pushed it so far. Not sure how good of an example this is. I think as long as you aren't doing anything "cutting edge" you should be totally fine.

The best you can is good enough.

I can say without a doubt that the 750k is fine for gaming. My bro uses one with a 470 GTX(equals an 750 ti in terms of performance). He plays everything on medium/high with no problem.
