Building a computer; in a pickle....

#1RevolverBlackPosted 7/13/2014 4:48:50 PM
So while I've been building my computer and I've hit a bit of a snag. I'm trying to install my CPU cooler (Corsair H105) into my case (Corsair 760t) but the screws provided aren't long enough. I can attach it if I don't go through the designated hole's (which have little foam "washers"). Would it be safe to attach them through the other holes or do I need to go the ACE to get longer screws?

Are you sure you're using the right screws? I am 100% sure Corsair designs their coolers to work out of the box with their own cases.

Can't you move the foam washers to the other holes?

No, they are attached (glued I think). And to the question above, yes we have tried all the screws we have.
