Nothing comes from Reddit. The fact that you think so means you're probably a regular over there. Go there and stay there.

I don't care if Ubisoft stopped making games for PC today but 14% for the PC market is not a horrible number. If anything I would have expected the numbers to be even more skewed towards PS4/XBO considering, you know....there aren't any games out for those systems.

Obviously the numbers that these games do on PC are worth it to them otherwise they would stop. The PC versions of these multiplatform games probably don't even need to move that many units to be considered profitable and worth the money/time put into them. I mean didn't the Alan Wake developers say they made the cost back of the PC version in like a day? I really doubt that game moved a ton of units.

It really isn't a shock that these games sell the most on consoles....they're the cheapest/most accessible boxes for the mainstream. Numbers like that don't at all mean that the PC versions of games aren't good/worth owning. McDonalds pulls in a hell of a lot more revenue than the steakhouse.

By my calculations, over 80% of that 14% are, in fact, PC peasants.

It looks like it's counting individual units sold, not profit margin. In that case I imagine the percent of profit is skewed much more in favor of PC. Also, PC is apparently right behind XBone in units of software sold, not too bad for a platform Ubi seems determined to alienate.

Yeah, console gamers have worse taste and less to choose from. Of course bad games sell better on them.

Imagine only having non FC Ubisoft games as the bright spot of your gaming choices. I have a new sympathy for our gps v_v
