Apparently, games being 60 fps over 30 isn't factually better, it's an opinion

Only benefit of 30fps that I can see is that its less demanding.

If you have a choice between 30fps and 60fps without a performance difference then you should always go with 60fps.

That would be silly if that's what I was arguing. Since it wasn't, there's not much else to say here.

You aren't arguing about anything. You're being wrong about everything.

Don't get those mixed up again and you might not end up getting a Darwin Award.

Hey, thanks for the uninformed advice. I'll take that straight to heart, since you obviously know my stance and what was being argued due to actually reading the thread. >_>

I can play anywhere from 25fps to 60fps, but of course 60fps is actually better.

But when the computer I had before finally building one was only averaging 15fps, anything 25fps+ looks great lol.

I actually beat CoD4 on a IGP back when it came out, running 7~20fps.

This is quite literally the only reason I haven't set Dark Souls 1 to use 60 FPS. Apparently you need a godly PC to run it at a smooth 60 FPS, and my PC's quite old nowadays (like around 3 or 4 years or so), so I'm content with the default 30 FPS. It helps that the game was built around 30 FPS and thus looks decent even at the lower framerate. Not like Oblivion, which scales its FPS TERRIBLY and thus 30 FPS looks choppier than an Ork with dual-wielded Choppas chopping a Space Marine into itty bitty pieces.

Wasn't part of the games physics or something based on it's FPS also? I imagine that would also be a good reason to not allow a higher one. Not a good design decision though.

Did the orks paint themselves red so they could go faster?

Unless I'm playing a fighting game or an online game in general, framerates of at least 30 or so don't really bother me.

Hey man...24 fps is the definitive cinematic experience.

No, its .3 fps, 1 frame every 3 seconds, slideshow style.

Zero or bust.
