*Warning* Weebo topic about visual novels.

I just got a gaming pc and I was browsing through steam to see what to get and one of the featured games was sakura spirit. Checked it out and I was like, "Oh yea, baby! That's what I like to see!" So then I shamelessly added it to my wishlist.

I then proceeded to look for more visual novels available on steam. I found more semi interesting ones and wishlisted them, but then I came across Narcissu and watched the trailer. The sound track reminded me of the sadness that overcame me when I watched Clannad After story. The reviews really like the sad story too.

After finding this possible gem I wanted to find more. So do you guys know where to find more awesome visual novels/simulations? I don't want to be sad the whole time so recommendations of different types of genres would nice. Thanks guys!

Here's the list of English translated VNs

There isn't a whole lot of Eng translated VN compare to other languages, but the top rated ones are translated.

If you didn't know about Stein's Gate, I suggest start with that one and go from there

Is stein's gate better in the visual novel or is the anime just as good?

I didn't watch the anime yet, but base on what I read from other VNs, anime sometimes NEED to cut/change stuff to fit the 24/12 episode requirements, thus reading the VN is almost always the best solution if you want to get every single detail.

If you don't care and just want the general story, anime would do
