It will do. Id change a few things but in that price range it's about all you are gonna get. If you can throw another 500-1000 into it...then we can start getting true high end.

Also WD black, not blue.

It won't reach like 60 fps on max settings on 1440p anyways. Some PC's struggle even with an SLI 780 Ti. But I wish I had that much money for a PC :'(

Dont want to get super carried away for a first time build, and it'll mainly be used for gaming so I want to keep things at least semi cost effective. I'll upgrade things in the future as best I can when parts start to bottleneck. And it's hard to beat $50 for blue.

I made a somewhat similar build recently, except I went with a 6gb 780 and will SLI it eventually.
