So, I've got an interesting setup, normally I use a trackball, but lately I've been using a razer naga. But since I picked up the deathadder from bestbuy (that and a $50 steam card for 49.99, sweet deal) it hasn't been tracking well on my "mouse pad" a bamboo cutting board. Never had issues with any other mice, and the DA works well on clothed or normal mouse pads. I was curious to why this sucks on my bamboo mouse pad whereas my old naga works perfectly fine. Oh and if there's a fix or I just have to suck it up and use a normal mouse pad. --- Dood... http://wp.me/1EBnQ "The best thing to happen to Linux is the release of Vista." Jack
I might do that, but my bamboo is very grabby, which might cause issues with some tapes. Might just use a conventional mouse pad with it. --- Dood... http://wp.me/1EBnQ "The best thing to happen to Linux is the release of Vista." Jack
The Deathadder is an optical mouse so it doesn't work on every surface. Your Naga is a laser mouse which is why it does. Optical mice have better performance but you have obviously experienced the drawback.
