Buying a new laptop, need expert advice.

I don't need it to play the latest blockbuster on high. It needs to be able to play any indie/unintensive/older game on the highest setting with no problem and be able to play online games that require stable connections and decent graphics (think Team Fortress 2, Civ 5 or Counterstrike) without problem.

I know you guys are trying to hep but I don't need to hear about how I need to buy a PC...

or how it's impossible to get a decent gaming laptop with a dedicated graphics card unless you pay over 1000 (I'm willing to go up to $700 and I know for certain that there are laptops that can handle medium gaming at that price range or much lower)...

I was able to get a laptop with a i7 with an integrated intel hd 4000 graphics card for around 650 around a year and 7 months ago. It was on sale at the time though. You could probably find a similar laptop for around 500-600 bucks somewhere.

It was able to play tf2 and indie games just fine. And I was able to play civ 5 on low settings.
I eventually build my tower last black Friday and I haven't really touched my laptop much sense.

No...there really isn't. There are machines that will run the games for cheaper...doesn't mean it will do it good. Even at 1k we are talking bare bottom boarderline trash.

I've looked a zillion times. Even that 745m in that laptop mentioned earlier really isn't that good. That might do low-lowish settings on games.

If there was a 700 laptop that could game decently I'd have already bought it.
