PC Gamers: Which console controller makes the best Gamepad for playing PC games?

It depends on the game; I prefer the 360 layout for 3D games and the Playstation layout for 2D games.

*Turn Evil can now be cast on players. When used, it applies a small goatee and causes them to explain their diabolical plans while steepling their fingers.

When I use a controller, I like the DS4, just doesn't work on some games. Sleeping Dogs for one. But I mainly go with KBM

I would prefer the DS4, but the 360 controller works with like everything with no hassle, so im goin with that.

PS3. I play a lot of 2D games so a good d-pad is important.

I like the PS4 controller better than the PS3 controller, but I don't know if the Xinput Wrappers for DS4 are perfect yet so I haven't picked up a DS4 for PC games yet, still using the DS3. Prefer either of them over X360(besides the triggers on the DS3, those suck), haven't used an XB1 controller.

If you prefer DS3 over X360, just download Xinput Wrapper for DS3, it gives perfect emulation for an X360 controller, for those PC games that only have X360 controller support. It's definitely the easiest solution over Motioninjoy or something like that.

I'm a scrawny, ugly, pasty nerd who has a hard time getting noticed, so I say "my gf/wife" alot on the internet. No one even plays on PC. Go away.

Where's the option for mouse and keyboard?
#40AlleRacingPosted 7/18/2014 7:47:22 PM
DS4, without a doubt. The 360's dpad is aweful, and you need either the wired version or the proprietary wireless receiver. The DS4 is a straight upgrade from the DS3 and actually suitable for someone with large hands (it's actually the widest controller of the 4). It functions with bluetooth or with a micro-usb cable. The light can be customized or turned off. The touch pad is functional for mouse input. The triggers are concave and slimmer than the DS3 or Xbone controller...
