They're badly optimized for high end GPU's which means the game's scaling takes a nose dive once you crank the settings up to their highest.

If you have a mid range system and are comfortable with 30 fps at 1080p with medium details then you should be fine.

Not even... Most UbiSoft games on my PC run at 60fps with some dips to high 40s. You were into something with the first part of your post then you took a wrong turn, feel down some stairs and started drooling

Played trials fusion, child of light, ac1, ac3, fc3 and blood dragon. Only had issues with ac3 being slow on my old sli 670s.

Never had a problem when I was running my GTX 480. I haven't experienced any problems with my 780TI either.

All AC games, FC2, FC3. The only thing I don't like about Ubisoft is Origin.

Yeah, Ubisoft needs to cut it out with this Origin crap.

I know Rayman Origins and Far Cry 3 are fine. Also, Ubisoft doesn't use Origin.. lol. Their DRM is called Uplay.

Their ubiart framework plays well on the PC. Other than that,I have all the AC games on the PC, FC 2, 3, Blood Dragon, Driver SF, and Watch Dogs. The only game that had issues was AC1 and Watch Dogs. AC4's physx implementation is terribly optimized though. I can max out AC4, though that is with two 780 Tis. Watch Dogs I have to keep the textures at medium quality.

Damn. It is Uplay. Still crap though.

Their games didn't even really utilize dual core processing until Far Cry 3 (that's 2012, fyi)... says all you need to know to me.

Uh....

.... well...

...Rayman Legends and Child of Light might be okay.

Don't quote me on that.. I have the Wii U versions.

Seriously though, you're probably better off just avoiding Ubisoft sandboxes in general. They're average-at-best even on their lead platform.

And yet still infinitely better than any Rockstar puts out.
