It's hard to put out efficient focused work when 600+ employees touch the game in some way during development.

Ubisoft has gone full on assembly line mode.

AC 4 ran well for me 1080p 45 to 60 fps. The game looks fantastic. However, as others have mentioned, the game gets old quick. It's the same old AC gameplay with pirate ship mechanics that gets old after you have taken over a few ships. It's so much copy pasta.

Splinter Cell Blacklist, Far Cry 3 and Assassins Creed up to 3 have worked just fine for me. Haven't tried AC4 or Watch Dogs yet, but my experience with their games on the PC doesn't make me not want to play them on PC.

Uplay does kinda suck cause its interface and features are bad, plus it is really annoying how any game that has had multiple patches makes you download those patches individually every time you start the game. Blacklist, I had to start, exit, start again 6 times for it to finish downloading all patches. Once you get past that though, its basically 2 clicks to start the game, so I don't really get all bothered with it.

Most of Ubisoft's PC versions are bad

Ubisoft patched away DX10.1 support from Assassins Creed 1.

Assassins Creed 4 has been shown to not even benefit from having more than two cores/threads.

Far Cry 3 artificially blocked DX10/10.1 cards from using the DX11 path, forcing them to run the DX9 path.

Future Soldier's graphics took a MASSIVE hit in the last stage for some reason.

I dont usually care about graphics that much, but the foliage was very noticeably pixelated and I've was running the game on High the whole way.

Heh.

Ubi games are terribly optimised but they still run way better on most cards than a ps4.
