Pretty much this, even if they were bought as stolen goods, the original "owner" would have sold them for much more.

Sound card. This X-Fi something gamer whatever, I don't even know what it's called anymore. W7 just calls it "SB-XFi"
I bought it a couple of months after it's release, years ago, for Quake 4, and BF2... Stupid reason, I know. I thought X-Ram would be a huge part of the future of PC gaming.

I think I paid well over $120 for it, from a local store.

Everything else was purchased years after they went obsolete.

No one believes it to be true, it just goes without saying. I'm sure we all know compulsive liars in our lives... you just kinda shrug off their stories, not call them out on it; especially on the internet where it doesn't matter in the slightest.
