GPU Selling advice

#1crawdadPosted 7/22/2014 10:02:59 AM
Hey I just need advice on how I should price a Used GPU,

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127615

I couldn't find any on ebay or amazon to kind of get an idea of what's a fair price that I could ask for. I've never sold a PC part before so this is completely new to me.

Thanks guys.

Just look at what similar cards are going for on wherever you plan to list it and undercut them by $5.

There are plenty on ebay. If you want it to sell fast price it at around 60 dollars.

To give you an idea, just 4 months ago I sold my MSI Geforce gtx 460 Hawk for 100 dollars on Ebay. Guess what, somebody bought it. So I guess, more or less, press it around 100 dollars

General tip in pricing something to sell. The human brain looks at the first number, and the number of digits, and places importance on those two things.

If you price your card at $100, for example, far less people will look at it than if you priced it at $99/$95.

It's the thought of "oh look, I can get this for under X amount of dollars, what a steal!" when in reality you are charging pretty much the same price.

Lol it's so obvious yet I could see myself easily overlooking it. Thank you.
