Has a game company ever broke your heart?

I know that there are a ton of people who have been disappointed by a game's release or a design decision that ruined games we loved. But have you ever felt heartbroken by a game company?

I ask because I'm feeling that right now with Trendy. I've bought Dungeon Defenders 3 times (Android when it was called first wave) 360 and PC. Today they released a new version and I was all on board to buy it. But then I found out there is no offline play. No local co-op. And no playing with just your friends or solo (say you have 2 friends the 4th slot will be filled with a random). I've spent thousands of hours on that game between the three platforms and I just feel crushed.

Bioware. They were my favorite company of all time and the moment they got bought out, everything changed.

Some roads you shouldn't go down because maps used to say there'd be dragons there. Now they don't, but that don't mean the dragons aren't there.

Squaresoft.

Right when X-2 dropped. That was the beginning of the end.

Well Squaresoft dropped the ball on FF 9.

Nintendo really screwed up with Metroid Other M and Starfox Adventures (wasn't a bad game it just wasn't a good Starfox game).

Blizzard dropped the ball on not making me my FKING WARCRAFT 4!!!!
