Naw, I wrote... "Provided it's your own network you can download Kali Linux and use a tool called wifite"
Nothing illegal about that at all.
It's been proven time and time again that the mods know nothing about legality of things concerning PCs. They do the same stupid crap when people post about completely legal Emulation of consoles and games.
Once I got moded on the subject of Emulation and the mods excuse was... "Back-up copies of games are for storage purposes only, not for use." as if you can't just stick a PSX disc in your drive and play it from there.
To be fair, they're not legal experts, nor is it their job to enforce the law. Their job is to enforce the TOS, which has to include an element of discretion/interpretation, especially where there is doubt over the legality of the content of a post.
Wow, can't believe I just started defending 'the mods'. I think I've finally turned into full time devil's advocate.
There's no need to crack the password. Find the reset button on your router and hold it down for like 10-30 seconds. Different brands are different? I believe. But anyways what this does is resets the router back to default settings. If it had a custom password on it it will be gone now. You might want to look up what the default login info is though. Like the Username might be blank. While the password is admin or administrator or something like that.
Have none of you heard of WPS? Most modern routers have it.
You don't have to reset the router, TC. When you get to the part to enter your WiFi password all you have to do is go to the router and push the button that's located on either the front or the top.
EDIT: In the rare case your router doesn't have such a button, assuming you got it from your ISP chances are the password is written on the bottom assuming you didn't change it from the default.
