Why hasn't Capcom released Dragon's Dogma on PC?

Being a fan of Monster Hunter, I loved Dragon's Dogma and desperately wish it had a PC release even though I know it won't.

I've played the Dark Arisen a lot on PS3 and it's very fun, and the community is still quite active. It has its own unique game elements. I couldn't really tell you why not PC. Could be that Capcom felt this game was best only on a console. If you get a PS3 this is one game (along with Demon's Souls) to get. The ps3 dark arisen forum has a pawn sharing club which makes the game fun too.

Pawn system is what kept it from coming to PC.

no it's not, they could have retooled the Pawn system to work through GFWL almost out of the box, or Steamworks with a little more effort. They're just lazy and don't care about PC games.

They don't want to make money.

And they are afraid of mods.

TC, i played it quite a bit on PS3. You're not missing a lot, not even fast loading times, 60fps, high-res textures, anti-aliasing and 1080p can make this game fun, maybe pretty, but not fun.

World feels dull, missions feel dull and repetitive (And a lot of them are going to make you go through the same paths over and over again), the story and world are as interesting as a PG-13 horror movie (Spoilers: Not interesting at all), the battles against the big enemies feel way too long, also the world feels limited compared to other games, and travel feels eternal since there doesn't seem to be horses or mounts to go faster or a decent fast-travel system.

On the other hand, the pawn system is good, you can pretty much customize a lot of stuff (You can make a little mage girl like the ones in animes and stuff, or a big tanky warrior) and you can share them with your friends and strangers, and they can even rate them based on looks, combat and usefulness (Same with the ones you get). You can also send them back with gifts.

Another + is the so-bad-it's-good main theme that sadly it's only available on the original version, whereas Dark Arisen has a generic chorus

Also, Dark Arisen has a extra Dark-Souls like area (gameplay-wise) but i never got there.

tl;dr Not a game that would improve a lot overall on PC.

Worst troll ever. At least come up with something creative. You took almost everything people liked about the game, and said it sucked. Not even that you don't like it, it just sucked. How are your facts supposed to be credible if it goes against every single other person?

Except it's not trolling, it's what i thought of it.

Played quite a while, can't remember how far i got (I was supposed to chase some kind of mythical bird) but i was between level 40-50.

The game has his good things and moments, but there's lots of stuff to improve on.

While I do like Dragons Dogma. I don't feel any urge to get it on PC. Maybe if it came with a bunch of mods that made the game better such as larger dungeons and random enemy spawns.

The game had lots of potential just capcom fell flat on it's face in some areas. One point you spend a hour travelling to the bluemoon tower to kill a griffon. Once I got there I was like ooooo this place is massive I bet I'm gonna be in here for hours. Was I in there for hours. Nope I was in there for maybe 10 minutes then I had to walk my butt back to the main city. The main city is also the only city in the game. Unless you count the starting city which you don't need to ever go back to ever again.
