So, Amazon has PC components on sale today. I have been considering replacing my rig for a while, and was wondering if any of these parts would be worth looking at.

The last time I built a PC was about 10 years ago, and I ordered all the parts through Newegg... but since I'm a Prime member now, I figured Amazon may be a better deal.

Thoughts?

The benefit of a SSD is speed, right?

The way I understand it, you want your OS on a SSD, and have a larger conventional HDD for storage... am I correct?

yes, speed. put your OS on a SSD for faster start up and loading of files. so keep all images, movies and small games on their.

put your long loading games on the SSD so it loads faster.

example skyrim entering / exiting / warping all have a loading screen of about 5-6 seconds, but with a SSD you can get it done in 1-2 seconds.
