I have an XFX Radeon HD 7770. Upgraded to a Sapphire Radeon R9 270 for $160, which I'll overclock to juuuuust under 270x levels. I liked the price tag.
Anyways, I'm using the latest AMD drivers. Since they're both AMD cards, should I uninstall my existing GPU drivers, or would I be fine just unplugging the 7770 and plugging in the 270 without messing uninstalling/reinstalling?
Wouldn't take long to uninstall/reinstall either way. Just curious. --- http://www.twitter.com/Foxigon -- http://www.youtube.com/FoxigonGaming Unbiased and honest opinions about video games and the gaming industry.

Safe bet is to uninstall the current drivers first. --- GT: Raven9853

Just plug the card in.
Safe bet is to uninstall the current drivers first.
Why? the drivers are the same?

I've had problems in the past with it not recognizing the difference in card properly but if that works it works. I tend to take the safest route with all software/hardware stuff. --- GT: Raven9853
