I just redeemed mine, but is Sims 2 better than Sims 3? I mean, I'm sure that all the DLC makes it better than just my base Sims 3, but overall is it really still one of the best simulation games ever released?
What would really be better in Sims 2?
Features are implemented better, and I personally think it has a better art style. Sims 3 does have a better build mode, and the loading times from Sims 2 makes leaving the house annoying., But overall, Sims 2 was just a better game
Hell, that's convincing enough. Thanks!
Its a matter of opinion, really. I liked the Sims 2 a lot better as well, until Sims 3 had most of it's expansions out. With all expansions, I prefer S3 to S2 now. Don't get me wrong, Sims 2 did some things better, but there's just so much more to do in the Sims 3, and you don't have to deal with loading screens unless you go to a travel destination (World Adventures or University). Sims 3 also looks much better , though the EA created and random sims look comparatively worse than in the Sims 2 (though all in all, they all look horrible). --- I feel a draft on my butt...
Don't care if I need an Origin account, if The Sims 2 comes with all the DLCs, that's too much of a good deal to pass up. --- "Ow! Stop it! Despite my name, I AM NOT A TORCH!" -Masontorch, Ys I & II Chronicles
How do you make it stop forcing 600 x 600 and low settings?
I tried searching online but they all pointed to a folder, tsdata, that doesn't exist in this ultimate edition. --- He who stumbles around in darkness with a stick is blind. But he who... sticks out in darkness... is... fluorescent! - Brother Silence
